Anyone know anything about vacuum bagging or have any sites about it. This seemed like the appropriate place for the topic since its all like fabrication and whatnot. Thanks Alot

Funny you should mention this. I just ran across an article describing how to vacuum seal recycled jars over at Make.

nice... it gives me a basic idea of the attachment. I want to vacuum bag something as large as a hood, and I don't think a hand pump will be able to do that. I do however have a compressor downstairs my dad made a long time ago. I wonder if it can double as a vacuum. I also have a work shop vacuum as well... hmmm... anyone know what material plastic that is durable and see through? thanks

you can get the vaccum pump to attach to a air compressor at Harbor Freight for around $10.00
