Software

Here are some pieces of software Mike has written over the years. They all run in Windows unless otherwise noted.

*NEW* AudioX – A small but powerful front end to several different audio encoders that lets you cross encode lossless audio between formats as well as encode audio to lossy (MP3 and AAC) formats. The program handles tag writing, album artwork, and more!

*NEW* MailBin – A tool that allows you to email .nzb files to your Gmail account and have them automatically queued up in Newsbin at any remote PC. This is an updated version of MailBin written from the ground up in C#. It’s fast and far smaller than the original, with a bunch of new features.

NetScan – A Network Scanner and WMI-Based Inventory Tool

Rot-13 Encoder – A small app that encodes your text using Rot-13. How 1st Century BC!

*NEW* RAIDFix - A tool that allows you to enable RAID on an Intel ICH-based motherboard after installing Windows with a single click.  Kiss that BSOD goodbye!

*NEW* Suction – A tool that allows you to easily consolidate many directories with a single click, or via a drag-and-drop interface.  A great replacement for the most useful function built into the now defunct Dir Utils.
